Prefer Dallas/Fort Worth Local Candidates. Our Client has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant professional reporting to the Corporate Controller. This position will be at their headquarters in Las Colinas, Irving, TX.

 Primary responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries and spreadsheets, assisting regional controllers with internal reporting, fixed asset accounting, budgeting and account analysis.

Requirements for this position:

B.S./B.B.A degree in accounting, CPA preferred

• Minimum 3+ years general ledger accounting experience

• Financial analysis, budget and forecasting experience

• Experience with Solomon/FRX is preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• GAAP and SEC reporting experience

• Self motivated with strong interpersonal skills

• Team player with exceptional oral/written communications skills

• No relocation
