A small software company started in San Diego is looking for two Recent Grads and two Interns.

This is an awesome opportunity to gain hands on experience in web software development,
while learning the best industry practices from more experienced software engineers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Participates and helps in the design activities of software development.
Tests and debugs software and delivers to directing developer for system integration and test.
Codes and maintains software modules of moderate to large size
Assists in the development of prototype versions of software modules and applications.
Participates in design and code reviews.
Provides regular feedback (e.g. detailed status reports) to supervisor on progress.
Developing cross platform applications that make a difference in the work environment.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:

• JavaScript, CSS, XML, XHTML, HTML
• SQL database programming experience (Specifically MySQL)
• Linux and Apache - including installation of Apache Mods
• UI and UX skills
• Web application programming experience
• Some experience with Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python.
• Web application programming experience
• Unix/Linux skills
• Experience with agile development methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

Full time enrollment in a computer science program.(B.S. or M.S) or recently graduated
Residence in the San Diego area
A GPA above 3.25
