Job Purpose

We are looking to quickly hire one build/automation engineer to join our team. Everything you work on directly impacts our customers and business. You will be involved in every project projects from inception to launch, having the opportunity to contribute to the success of each.  Our development team is small and self-organized, using an agile development approach. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference, and gain a lot of experience delivering great products to market.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of automation, and is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve our processes. We are looking for someone who is well seasoned in setting up and maintaining build and test environments, accelerating the development cycle an facilitating QA in insuring every release is flawless.

Job Requirements:

·         Extremely strong scripting skills

·         Setting up automating build and test environments

·         Creating, maintaining, and rolling out virtualized server images

·         In-depth experience with the Linux environments, especially package management systems

·         Experience managing version control repositories

·         Automation of operations and recovery tasks

·         Working with systems team to create reliable and consistent releases

 Preferred:

·         4+ years in the field of Computer Science

·         2+ years as a build/automation engineer

·         Database management, especially MySQL

·         Agile development methods

·         Perl or Python

·         Test automation tools

·         Managing the release process

·         Software development or QA backgrounds

·         Windows Installers

·         Mercurial, Bazaar, or Git

·         Continuous integration systems

·         High Availability environments
