A stable Software Development Company is looking for several QA Test Engineers for Immediate Hire!
You will part of the Quality Assurance team responsible for web based Internet Explorer & FireFox compatibility testing where the project will last through the rest of the year.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a get their foot in the door and make a difference in the future of the Internet, and gain experience delivering great products to market.
REQUIREMENTS
• Understanding of browser compatibility and security limitations across all versions of Internet Explorer and FireFox
• Needs to have proficient understanding of Web browser functions and issues that can arise for end-users when interfacing with a Web application (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and up.).
• Define test cases, perform testing, identify and track software defects on large and small development projects
• Utilize quality assurance methodologies and software development life cycle procedures
• Define test objectives for test assignments and write test outlines
• Perform manual and regression testing of modules for conformance to stated requirements and company standards
• Experience with various Java-related Web Servers (WebLogic, Webflow, Apache, Tomcat, etc.)
PREFERRED:
• Web application programming experience
• Experience developing IE browser plug-ins
• Experience with web service protocols HTML,HTTP,AJAX,SOAP,FLEX
