The ideal candidate is someone who understands how the Internet works (and where it’s going), who has a passion for learning, and someone who loves to create quality software. We are looking 4+ years experience in software development, proficiency in web-oriented development, a strong desire to learn, and someone who understands that AJAX is more then just a cleaning product. Proven UI/UX skills and experience with agile development practices are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Exceptional software design and development skills
• Experience with OOP, refactoring, and design patterns (2+ years)
• Experience with both client side (i.e. XHTML, CSS, Javascript) and server side (Perl, PHP, etc.)
• Good Unix/Linux skills (2+ years of experience)

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

4+ years experience in software development, proficiency in web-oriented development, a strong desire to learn.  Proven UI/UX skills and experience with agile development practices are preferred.

• B.S. in Computer Science

• Database experience, especially MySQL (1+ years)

• UI and UX skills (2+ years)

• Experience with agile development methods
• Web application programming experience
• Experience with Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, or any other dynamic language (2+ years)
