  Description: 

We are looking for a top flight Independent Sales Representative with a passion to add Straumann dental products to their selling and distribution portfolio. We need an individual to drive sales for all Straumann products - dental implant system implants, restorative/prosthetic components, regenerative products, our Straumann etkon es1 scanners, milled coping elements, and custom milled abutments - in the state of Hawaii. You will maintain and cultivate profitable relationships with select dental practices, laboratories, their related team members and the dental community at large.  The ideal Independent Sales Representative will increase their sales and earnings by adding Straumann products to compliment their own product  offerings with the mission to deliver customer satisfaction within the Hawaii geographic area. This requires an ability to sustain, uncover, understand and exceed customer expectations within your selling activities by “simply doing more” - the Straumann way, with Straumann products. To reward your efforts Straumann will provide an attractive commission structure.

 

Major responsibilities:

  • Manage the Hawaii geographic sales area to maximize sales revenue and your commissions by adding Straumann products to your sales arsenal.
  • Service existing accounts and grow your business.
  • Identify, target and convert prospect accounts and new business with dentists, oral surgeons, and dental labs.
  • Support the execution of Straumann marketing launch plans and new product sales.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated above average sales performance with a minimum of 3-5 years of dental or medical products sales experience, with a focus in on-going relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to thrive and excel independently.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, a “can-do” attitude, and an innovative problem solving style.

 Education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of sales and distributing experience in high growth corporate markets.
  • Dental or Medical product and device industry experience essential.
  • Prior sales experience with dentists, dental labs, and physicians as the principle points of contact preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency in consultative selling with knowledge of the SPIN technique or related methods preferred.
